912 Exhaust Question
Hello,
I took the engine/transmission out of my 66 912 to clean things up a bit and replace the mounts and do a valve adjustment, etc. Anyway, I want to replace the muffler with a high quality and better sounding unit.
I am ok with louder exhaust and the SSI/M&K setup on my 3.0 SC was the best sound for me. The dansk muffler I currently have on the 912 is too tame for me. I've been considering either the Stoddard stainless sport exhaust (the one developed by magnaflow I think) or the M&K stainless 912 muffler . Both appear to be high quality. I would greatly appreciate anyone who has heard these in person, on a 912 or 356. Your input is appreciated.
