[Overpaid Slacker]

My first firm represented (and still represents) DK. I met him a number of times, and he is an articulate, likable guy -- he called be "Brother JP" whenever we saw each other w/ a big smile. He is a Big guy, too, and the first time I met him he was in a seersucker suit w/ a boater hat - that was a sight!

A number of litigator friends who actually worked for/represented him have incredibly funny stories about Don that convey his larger-than-life personality.

However, this is a guy who "never staples a contract" and whom I would never, ever, want to have to trust. He is a predatory, amoral guy, even by the standards in that field of business. Hero - no, but an exemplar of remorseless capitalism.
