OK, next question while they're free:
I know about the wax seals, but at home despot I saw these "wax ring replacements" that seem to be made of blue silicone or something, and advertised "no leaks guaranteed" and such nonsense.
but it was $8 bux, so of course I bought an old school wax seal for $2.
So what's the deal with these new-fangled seals, are they real or infomercial fodder?
