For those of you that have an 11 and also something newer, does the 11 feel its age?
I currently am bikeless and have always loved the shape of the 1100s and moreso the boxer cup.
Cheers for your thoughts

Blimey what a question

in stock trim it’s nothing short of Stone Age I thought that probably 16/17 years ago and instead of getting rid did something about it.
I only ride mine early part of the year and late on I see no point in stressing the motor in warm weather but when I haven’t ridden it for months I go through the same old process the first 80 miles i’m Crying and WTF am I doing with this comes into my head every 10 seconds but by the time i’ve Got to the 100 mile mark then it’s light bulb time and i’ve Remembered how to ride it but stock it ain’t not by a long chalk it ain’t.
Compared to modern day well I do have my K1200 but even with the bells and whistles isn’t really modern day, fast forward to my X/R and recently purchased KTM GT and frankly they are monstrous compared to the 1100 and from a fun factor point of view off the scale but if you want to introduce any reality into the conversation

over a 300 mile day or more the old 1100(mine) is still able to give them a run for their money although in fairness I have probably spent more on my 1100 than what the GT cost me
