Just bought a 2004 R1100S. I've ridden many newer bikes(2010 & later). And a lot of old ones. I bought it because I fell in love with the style/look of it years ago. The brakes(abs) are good, Suspension(Ohlins) good, comfort(good), power so, so(but still fun). New bikes are better. But that's not everything. They are all just machines. In the end if I can't walk out to the garage at stare at a motorcycle at say "Cool" it's time for it to go. I have several bikes, different tools for different jobs.
