I'm actually seriously considering doing this to a Mercedes W140.
I own a 1992 S420 that's in nice condition but there's an S320 for sale locally with a failed cylinder head.
He's asking $500... The interior and paint are good.
I'm guessing around $25,000 total for parts, batteries, control boxes etc. (probably more $$$)
