Excellent point. One most won't think about. Perhaps the batteries up front act as a battering ram. Is any room left in the frunk?
Seems to me that the Tesla, Leaf, i3, whatever is the better choice. ... batteries down low, space for stuff, MUCH better crash worthiness.
