Color change from Signal to Ruby w black vinyl, chrome wheels, 125,000 mi. SOLD for $80,000 (Hemmings.)
BOUGHT: Good 1980 Targa SC, 115,000mi, original, TX and MT car with no rust, always garaged. New leather seat covers and velour carpet. Good top. Guards Red and Targa top probably kept value down, but I wanted a Targa and Guards Red is OK by me. BOUGHT for $29,500.
What I find interesting is the value of the '65; while nearly flawless it was driven, a lot, and the mismatched numbers couldn't have helped. Also interesting, it seems that a-c 911 prices are in the summer doldrums; fleabay asking prices and classified ads are still unrealistic but what are the cars selling for, if at all? (BaT.)

The everything bubble has popped. Stocks, housing, and yes German toys for middle aged guys
And guards red is only a 4 letter word on sites like this where the purists have to purist. In the real world, people love that color.
