Very sorry to hear about that.
That’s the main reason I had the prop overhauled on ours. It all started with me attempting to replace the aged McCauley stickers with repos.

Pulled the paint right off to the bare aluminum. So I decided to strip the paint and shoot it with some fresh flat black. I found some scratches and other dings I didn’t like. Then add the fact I didn’t have any history other than remove, inspect and re-install. Pulled the trigger on an overhaul and now I even have a prop log. The shop even had some original proper stickers too.
I even took it one step further and removed the paint from the spinner and hand sanded and polished.
