Oh no. Someone is calling me about my federal student loan. Man, they must really be confused. I am just real sure I have never ever even once had a student loan, and neither has my wife. Well I did borrow a pencil from a student friend but I am pretty sure I gave it back, and the feds were not involved in that transaction. Every year was a new school for me, and the second they found out I was a military dependent, they gave me the paperwork to take home for my parents to sign. The schools would pester me about it until I returned the signed paperwork that got them federal money for my education. Since we were not really "residents" of the state we did not pay local property taxes to the school system, and the feds pay their fair share for my education.
