Ivan, you misunderstood. I use a simple cheap floor jack. The question was what kind of jack being referred to which has the tilt adjustment. There appears to be some screw type adjustment with a turning knob in the example I posted.
Not meaning to hijack the thread, OP, agree with checking the clutch lever.
