Enjoyed. The 912 doesn't get enough appreciation. They kick some ass at autox. Too bad a motor rebuild is now as much as a flat six was just not that long ago. Of course now 6 rebuilds require a 2nd mortgage.

I know where there is an original 912 that has sat in a driveway for years a few miles from the ocean. It could probably be picked up for, IMO, more than it's worth because of the very highly probability that it is very, very rusty. So it the guy could be persuaded at 10K+ it would take another 50 grand to have a marketable 912.

Survivors are keepers.
