Plus, if a fighter like C.M. popped that old guy as it appears he had, the guy would be sprawled out cold (if not dead) and probably bleeding. C.M. winds up and lets it loose. But the arc of the punch and his hand is not consistent with a punch.

The old guy continues talking to the other old guy on his right after supposedly being sucker-punched.

It seems to me a punch like that would have launched the old guy into tomorrow if not next week.
