I noticed that as well as the emergency slide looks like a vertical drop. The drop distance looks very low though.

Something in that Aloha airlines pic disturbs me... specifically what looks like blood splattered along the outside windows aft of the breach, like someone got eviscerated like a struck deer and bled out during the harrowing descent.
