I dunno. They redesigned the part three times.
People make a cp3 replacement for the cars if you're paranoid, and high mileage.
Cp3 is a very good injection pump that is used in the medium duty domestic diesel trucks.
Hpfp only contaminates the fuel system. Ims kills the engine. Still rare. I highly doubt anyone here will experience the failure... (Hpfp that is)....
