Wouldn't mind getting a newer TDI but my 1996 Passat TDI Wagon
is smog exempt here in Calif.
Been driving my 04 C240 Benz wagon for comfort about a year
and the TDI just sits but it sure seems to cost
a lot in gas driving the Benz.
The stick shifts do seem to be more trouble free in VW's.
