Ok, hey people who care... Here's the current status of how my car is doing & what I plan to do to it.
Model: 944
Weight: 2486 (no driver + no gas)
Horsepower: Estimated 132RWHP or so.(g-tech)
Best 0-60: 6.51 @ 42 Degrees
Best 1/4 mile: 14.87 @ 96.2MPH (i think that was the trap speed for that one, i might have mixed it up w/ another one)
Avg. 0-60: 6.65-6.9
Avg. 1/4 mile: 15.00
-Proceedure: I set the d*mn gtech to 0.0 not -.01 or something, EXACTLY 0.0 and it centered while blinking 0.0. Then I reved and launched (FROM A STAND STILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not rolling) at a specified RPM's and went until right after i clipped into third (60MPH) and it gave me the darn readings.
So I really am not in the mood for anyone's *****, that's how it is ok? Get over it, if you have something to say, keep it to yourself, this is a post for people who are into NA performance and technique's etc etc. I get caught up fighting you b*st*rds instead of talking to the ones who actually care...
Here's what I plan to do, or want to.
-968 Rear end, then get a decal made that says 946 instead of 944
. Then if I get a 968 engine someday call it a 948
.
-Get new wheels+tires sometime soon...
-Get some Drag Strip print outs to shove down the haters throats. Peace out guys...
