so I did a little research and found the gun is a pretty nice 45 and that its very close to the original ones and that's about the average price.
then I found one on Buds guns for 550.
I left the screen up on my computer at work for the past week thinking about it.
this morning I saw it and thought what the heck, I always wanted a 1911 and for $550 that's not a bad deal.

will let you know how it turns out.
My brother in law has one of those. Good shooter. If you are used to something like a Ruger P90/P95 or Glock, the stock 1911 trigger will be a treat. An ambi safety is nice to have if yours doesn't have it. Other than that, shoot a bunch of rounds through it before you decide anything else.
