Everyone in that region was genuine good people. Salt of the earth to be cliche.

Your posts here, among others, have been great...especially your anxiety. mixed with sympathy for others.
I hate that these storms stare at you for days, tease you with a drop in millibars. I have only experienced CAT 2 and low 3's. I simply can't imagine what a 5 lurking off shore must feel like.
Stupid, I know, but even though my place is out of the cone, got my gas and diesel tanks topped off, ran the generators, shifted power, went through the drills just a little bit with my wife to make sure.
My best to FLA, GA and SC. I do not feel good about this one.
