Just had some sad news about Abaco

Hometown Lodge, a lovely house we rented in Elbow Key a few years ago is gone, Hometown Harbour Lodge is no more, the coffee shop has collapsed and Captain Jacks all gone, most of Elbow Cay has gone.

The surge of water approx 26 feet, the islands they say will never be the same again. People have been swept away, many people are missing in Abaco and parts of Freeport are gone

US Coast Guard is in Andros ready to do a quick hop in Helicopters when it’s possible
