Better gearing gives you a mechanical advantage. It’s more power to the ground at any given speed. That equates to faster acceleration to the goal speed. Also, borg Warner synchro shift about twice as fast as Porsche’s split ring ones(.2 seconds vs almost .5). Plus there’s only more shifts if you go over 115mph. The RPM drop 1-2 is near identical between the two boxes if shifted at redline. Your butt dyno is fooling you because you can run your 4spd to 90 on 1 shift.
