Another tip is to ask your prescribing doctor for samples, or if there is a discount program available for the RXs that you are getting.

I had been on Coumadin, and having to go get blood tested every month at the hospital was a pain in the azz. I asked my Cardiologist about Eliquis, and he agreed. After taking Eliquis for a year, and having to pay $65 a month after what my insurance paid, I asked my doctor again. He handed me an Eliquis contact card, that I was able to call, and set myself up for discounts. I now only pay $10 a month, and last month was free for some reason. I can't complain about saving $55+ a month !
