ruf porsche has to say about an apparent isolated misdeed performed by a BMW mechanic, "My friend brought his bimmer to a repair shop after the timing belt broke. They took over 4 weeks to replace the head and they stripped one of the cam cover bolt so they just glued it back onto the camcover.
For most Mechanic that repairs cars it just a job to them and they are not going to fart around wasting time to get it right. Anyone who has built a house can tell you the same thing about the construction trade."
