Re: the Cal 22, Triad Trailers makes trailers for a wide range of fin keel sailboats like the Capri 22, J/22, etc. They should work fine for the Cal 22. There might be one you could acquire used in the SE US for $1-2K.
I’m not familiar with the Montgomery 17, but if it looks good...
