I’ve said it to you before but here we go again.
You’re so worried about money I think you’d be happier with something else. I realize you’ve spent lots and the desire not to loose or spend more is a real concern that I share with you.
You’re right about Porsche costing more. It’s true. Adding pressure to that doesn’t help the issue.
Sometimes we have a better half that doesn’t share our passion and that’s another potential problem with a hobby that’s expensive. I’ve found it more important to make the wifie happy than myself though I’m not a therapist and your problem might not include her concerns.
Here is what I know:
Porsche costs are higher than a corvette. (And many others)
Turboing a Porsche adds to costs but worse, it adds an addiction for more. (Keep this in mind when considering costs so far)
It’s going to leak.
Turbo hp is always faster hp. It’s also easier hp.
Don’t consider doing an na build thinking it’ll cost less. Porsche na hp is serious money.
Look at the Williams poke at na aircooled hp.
You can have a 500-600hp corvette for half the cost of your 200hp car as it sits. Let that sink in.

In conclusion, stop waffling over things you already know as though it’s all still on the table. Either do it or don’t. If you can and want too do it. If you don’t think you’ll have the balls, I get that too. Don’t do it. No one will think less of you.
Enjoy.
