Jeff is a really nice guy has been around Porsche's for 45 years and built that car himself. It gained a fair amount of respect from the younger crowd. It is a very nicely done build and he is proud to show it.
I didn't know anyone who built cars like you pictured. I was always building performance and track oriented cars even in the 70's and 80's. Restoring 2002's and early 911's at 19. Can't tell you how many I know the same age as these guys buying new 991's 992's and Panameras. They aren't being purchased only by the gray haired Rolex wearing stereotype you seem to believe.
I also know a lot of Porsche owners who drive vintage Muscle and frown on the crap you posted.
