I think OP's original problem is the use of the existing seatbelt receptacle, and how he has no point to mount it to his Recaro seat or BK rail.

The problem is that later cars with powered seats have the seatbelt points attached directly to the seat bracket instead of to the floor like earlier cars, and those stock brackets/rails don't come apart for re-use, hence the need for a universal bracket.
