Aircraft ferry from US West Coast to Australia, via Hawaii. Short range aircraft like this SAAB 340 need both added fuel tanks and HF radio kits installed. I work with a company (a pilot) that owns the tank and radio system including the approvals. He is constantly traveling to move these types around.
