I sent a complete Super 90 to France. I acquired a crate from a local carrier, with tip indicators, inside and out. Inside is key for Insurance.
I would never ship anything the way that 917 went. Full crate!!!
You will have customs paperwork, and federal paperwork.
It's fairly simple.
