I'm not sure I agree here on this as those cars had
outrageous styling for the day and most were equipped with 440's. It was the style ( and cost) that did them in.
So much so some were 'converted' with conventional front ends and removed the giant wing to move them.
I see the hellcats and related as outrageous performance all the way-round with pretty good looks, MO.
