A Twilight Zone episode loosely based on an actual missing B-24 aircraft and crew. The Lady Be Good took off on her last mission in 1943 and was found in the Lybian desert 16 years later.

Another movie with Richard Basehart, Vince Edwards, William Shatner and others is also based on the Lady Be Good with Basehart being the "Sole Survivor".
