Then UBER locks your account until you pay. Happened to me. I was at my desk at work in New York and look at my phone: “your Uber driver has arrived”. Well that driver was in Texarkana. Then another trip in Kentucky. Well, my account got hacked to the tune of $225. I was tipping $90 for $12 rides! Total baller! So, I called Amex and disputed. A few weeks later I flew to Chicago on business. After meetings I called an UBER to see a friend in the hospital. My account said I had charges in arrears totaling $225. I had no choice but to pay in order to get to my friend. And then the saga with UBER customer service went on for 6 months until one night at dinnner a call on my cell from a Georgia area code. A real human! It took about 30 mins to explain it all but it got resolved. They kicked me $20 in Credit for 6 months of emails. Oh well. Rant over.
