Nah, we've been out on the Santa Fe around Blue Springs/Rum Island. Mom's place is only a few miles from Lake Alice (10 blocks N of the stadium) but there hasn't been a confirmed gator sighting at her pond in 50+ years.... Some really farkin' big snapping turtles... but no gators.
