Mike, not to beat a dead horse, but as several others have said, you own the car now. Just plink away at it. It'll get there.

Sounds like you have it running. That's YUUUGE! Nice work.

When I was tracking my '72 T w3.2, there were 2 guys in a '67 911. Not sure if it was an S, but that doens't matter. They were Embry-Riddle students down from Prescott. Cool guys.

It ran pretty well, but was cosmetically very rough. It was safe to track, but otherwise very basic. Between sessions, they were all over the car tweaking this, fixing that, all while having a blast at the track.
There were many other cooler cars there, but folks were just gravitating to the old '67.

Fun times for everyone.


I would caution against "final product" in mind too much. Just make it move under it's own power safely. To just drive the darn thing will give perspective to the entire project.
