I think they should have gave it a new name and continued the Corvette. $120k price tag is crazy. It's ruining the affordable super car that can compete with the world's best. I've never liked the Vette styling but totally respect their capabilities. It's an Icon. Any connection to the past? I don't see it.

But the new corvette is mid engined. Things change. Corvette's had a pretty long run (longer than the 911) since 1953, every year except 1983.
