Was in HS and working in a small town Chevy and Pontiac dealership when the Fiero came out. They were exotic by comparison to other cars then. I remember driving one a bit and how enormous the center console seemed. Also recall how someone saying their construction was so robust that a Fiero would "drive right through most cars" in a T-bone accident as well as the Fiero IMSA efforts.

Would have done better to remember all of my school work that well.
