2wd dropped an inch or two would not bother me. Same as a 4x4 lifted an inch or two. Lifting a 4x4 to put 35 series tires on 22" wheels? Kill it with fire. Lifting a truck to put 44" tires and not even hitting a fire road with it? I think we need to have a talk.
