This case nicely illustrated the double standard for LEO's and shootings. I wonder what would happen if the roles were reversed, young man shot an off duty police officer because he went into the wrong apartment. I think they would probably have given him the death penalty.
Judge gave the woman a hug and a bible when it was over.
Judge was promptly attacked for it by people of the atheist faith.
