In my work I have to test for it on all product I make. In manufacturing of tents, in order to sell in California, we must pass the CPAI-84 standard (California standard for material burn rate with exposed flame) by adding flame retardant to the textile...which triggers failure to pass Prop 65 requirements..... So threading that needle is fun. Too little- fail CPAI-84, too much, fail prop 65.
