No.

That is the reason the fuel return line is the same size as the as the supply line. The excess gas just goes back to the thank.

I guess if you add up the extra few second of run time the pump operates after a 10,000 starts you have 8.3 hours. That would be nearly 3 years if you started your car 10 times per day every single day of the year.

Considering most of the pumps run 30+ years with no issues, don't worry about it.
