Chip your pet!

A tale with a happy ending. Starving cat at our back door...swollen wound on back haunch. Fed it, brought inside...very friendly, knew litter pan. Our old cat, of course, upset. Made a vet appointment to get wound treated, then planned on paying a fee to the local no kill shelter to take him in...all this happened from Friday night to this Wednesday morn, 1st vet appointment we could get.

Cindy just back from the vet, who chipped the cat. His owner was THRILLED to get him back, will pay the vet bill. Owner lives about 6 miles from us. If cats could talk, this one would have quite an adventure to tell.

Our cost? Food & shelter, an upset cat, some littler pan cleaning, and a bit of sleep loss. The reward of knowing of the reunion? Priceless!
