I wouldn't hesitate one minute to bring it back and ask/plead/beg/demand they make it right. Split the case, redo the whole thing, whatever it takes. I'm sure we're talking a 5 figure rebuild.

A lot of ill will could be generated by calling the shop out on Pelican. While I wouldn't necessarily threaten that type of action, and I strongly subscribe to the ability to give them the chance to make it right, I might threaten if I got hardcore pushback from the shop. But they'd have to push back pretty hard and not do the right thing.

Making it right isn't Mickey Mouse sealants, shoddy work and half measures. It's doing it right. Give them the chance. If they refuse or don't, it won't be good for either one of you.
