As soon as you posted Matt Lauer's name, your thread was doomed.

There is a book. It alleges dirt. Money will be made, and I have no idea how much of what is true. I know there are women who have been brutally raped, and I know there are women who sometimes change their minds about having sex during or after the event. I think guys think that forced sex is rape, and some women feel that saying yes but not really meaning it makes a man a rapist for not knowing that.

I get that a woman can FEEL violated when having sex with a man who would stop if she asked him. I personally feel like that is doing a huge disservice to men, and the woman's own integrity. It also seems like a disservice to all of those women that really have been raped under dire circumstances. I get that both types of situation feel like a violation. I also get that both women probably need some kind of therapy.

OTOH, I know there are guys who would stop if a woman asked them to stop, and guys who wouldn't. I know there are guys and gals who use sex as a commodity, in exchange for other things, and who wouldn't hesitate to screw you or screw you over for personal advantage. And there are people of both sexes who use conquests as personal ego boosters. But as far as I am concerned, if you allowed it, it was not rape. You may have been used, but that is still a far cry from the true horrors that people suffer which they cannot stop or walk away from.
