Except that on the street a 3.2 powered M491 is a far more driveable car than a STOCK 930 of the same era. But, to each their own.
I have owned 20+ aircooled cars and my stock M491 is one of my favorites. One of the few I regret selling.
We have built some very fun turbos, but there were not stock. Modified turbos, fuel systems, gearing or some combination of each. My current favorite build is a 92 turbo with a tweaked turbo, WUR, complete exhaust and a short geared gearbox. Now that car is fun for all types of driving. Far more fun than my beloved M491.
