Sorry for delay in responding.
The easiest way to explain it for me is that a lot of the newer 911's have become really good GT cars, the RS is more analog. Yes, it is a bit rough on the street but it doesn't beat you up too bad. My 13yo son fell asleep riding in it about 2.5 hours home on the highway for a PCA drive, so it can't be that bad...
The trans need to be warmed up some for it to shift smoothly and the throttle response is very quick.
All in all, it is a car that begs to be driven and is a shame so many of them just get put in garages.
