Maybe the safety nannies are part of the problem, because they make driver and parents feel safe and overly confident, which can lead to excessive speed and at some point, physics take over. Same would be true for a Tiguan, except it does not carry the “rich kid” badge. It would also not have come to our attention if the title said “VW goes over a bridge”...
