Hopflyt isn't designed to be a car, rather a VTOL electric powered aircraft to fill the void of urban commuting, 60 miles or so, at far less cost than a conventional helicopter.
They are really good guys and there are definite barriers (I have discussed them in detail with the Hopflyt folks), but nothing ventured...
