Where is Warren Zevon or Graham Parker? Both are far more worthy.
The Hall has become a reflection of $$$ rather than innovation that shaped Rock's history.

That would certainly explain the big buck (performer) inductees like
LaVern Baker
Little Willie John
Lloyd Price
Gene Vincent
Solomon Burke
Leonard Cohen
Bobby Womack
Jimmy Cliff
Laura Nyro
Nina Simone
I didn't include inductees from some of the other categories as they tend to get a little obscure.
The R&R HOF started off reasonable for the first couple of years but quickly devolved into a
PC committee where each member had a different agenda, and it was rarely related to real rock and roll.
Hall of FAME should be a hall of ...
famous rock and roll people.
Not people who most folks have never heard of, not people who have nothing to do with rock and roll, not people who were innovative or somehow contributed behind the scenes.
Fame.
if not, they should call it something else.
Like the "Western culture hall of people we chose because we're pompous PC faux-intellectuals using it as a tool to advance a political or social wish-list".
Kinda catchy after you hear it a couple times.
PS: Foreigner, Steppenwolf, Steve Winwood and REO are also not inducted.
AFAIK Foreigner and REO haven't even been nominated.
sinful.
And don't get me started on Gram Parsons .........
