I'd second this. Post some pics and show us what's going on. Porsche knew what they were doing with paint, so you should have a decent base to start with. I'd either do it yourself or get someone to cut and buff. Fix the mechanical issues, drive it, live with it, and make a decision. If you repaint, paint it whatever color you want.
