I know I would wear out the outside bolster pretty quickly. Only gripe about the drive was the pdk. I'm sure you get used to it, but initial impressive is 2 fold. It was great when driving aggressively, shifts so fast and seemed to always be in the right gear. But, poking along in traffic it shifted all the time, maybe it didnt really matter but it seemed to hunt a lot at partial throttle. Again, might not matter, it just stood out as a bit annoying.

I havent driven a modern 911 in a while so I need to get a back in one soon to compare boring DD things like seating position, access...
I am really surprise to hear that about PDK. Were you in Sport mode? If so, then it shifts often when it sense input from your gas pedal. Put that in reg mode and the transmission is pretty lazy like any other automatic car. As soon as I start the car, Sport is on, can't stand reg. mode. when I give it gas to get around traffic, that little, tiny pause before it downshifts drives me nuts.
